On the Mendocino Coast we face two major challenges in the roofing of your home.
The first is salt air. Salt air eats most galvanized metals in a short time so
we are always concerned with using copper flashings for the projects that need
last more than 20 years. The other challenge we face as roofing contractors is that no two homes are alike.
Nearly every roof we do requires some sort of special attention regarding flashing
work or metal types, etc. The good news is the weather is nearly always mild and the
view from many of the ocean front homes we work on is spectacular.
